About us

The Rosemont Chamber Orchestra (RCO) is a charity that provides high-quality, classical music concerts usually found only in the city and brings them to the local community.

The RCO achieves through a network of professional musicians, local businesses, and local communities to put on a premium yet accessible event. 

Founded in 2022 by Sagar Nagaraj, the RCO launched with its inaugural concert "Strings Sensations" to the Epping Community with the generous support from Bendigo Bank.  

The RCO's players have performed on the biggest stages in Australia and across the world. In Australia, players have played with the Opera Australia Orchestra, Melbourne Opera Orchestra, and Australian World Orchestra. 

Education plays a major role in the RCO's mission. The orchestra provides professional development opportunities for student players, performs new works by composers, and players educate audience members about music in concert speeches.

The RCO also has small chamber ensembles that perform at aged care homes, public schools, and pre-schools across Sydney.

The RCO's 2024/25 Season is currently in planning.
